Dear SCC Families,

Attached is the September newsletter, and below are the announcements for this Sunday, Sept 5th.  The newsletter includes some very special articles about the "Defining Moments" of this past summer ... most notably the dedication of the Joshua Caleb Ministry Center.  And the summer months were filled with many missions activities and visits from our missionary friends from near and far.  Our kids especially enjoyed VBS week with Mr. Hadfield, who was such an engaging, entertaining, and encouraging Bible verse expert from Australia.

With schools now fully back in session, all of our SCC ministries will resume the regular schedule of classes and activities.  Please read the bulletin schedule and announcements and the events calendar in the newsletter to find out just how you can get involved.

May you have a restful "Labor Day", actually a day to be free of labor, to give thanks and celebrate God's goodness and provision through our work.

Mission

Connecting to God

We believe the ultimate reason for our existence is for a unique and intimate relationship with God that only comes by faith in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Connecting With Each Other

We believe that we exist as believers to build relationships with one another, both in our congregation and outside our congregation.  We exist to build up and encourage all believers, regardless of race, denominational choice, or ethnicity.

Connecting the World Back to God

We believe that the unity of Christians, across denominations, race and ethnicity, will allow the body of Christ to effectively reach the world for Christ.  It is our responsibility as individuals, congregations and the body to actively share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
