Switzerland Community Church is a Bible teaching, elder led church located in St Johns County. SCC exists with the mission to help people take their next step in following Jesus. Our church is built on the foundation of God’s Word. As a church, our mission and vision drive our purpose. Our hope is that the community that surrounds SCC will be impacted by seeing the Gospel lived out in our members’ day-to-day lives. To read more about our beliefs, please follow this link.
Around our campus you will see the phrases “Gather. Grow. Go” and “Find Your Fit”. We hope you find your fit here in one of our Connect Groups. Our Connect Groups take us out of the rows on Sunday mornings and places us right in the lives of other believers. These groups are where you will do life with each other; celebrating the times on the mountain tops and bearing each other’s burdens in the valley.
Our Sunday services are part of our “Gather”. We believe that Sunday mornings are for shoulder-to-shoulder worship and teaching. These services are designed to be honoring to God and applicable in our everyday lives. We observe communion once a month and celebrate baptisms throughout the year. Also, part of our “Gather” are Connect Groups and special services or events that celebrate the Church seasons and worship God through our creative talents.
Our “Grow” is centered on loving God and loving people. That carries over to how our church body is growing in their personal relationships with Jesus. This happens through reading Scripture, prayer, discipleship relationships, and maturing in our faith through life’s twists and turns. Our relationship with God is not reserved for Sunday mornings only. Our relationship carries us forward throughout the week.
You are part of our “Go”. Our goal is that every person in St Johns County would have the opportunity to hear the Gospel and begin a relationship with Jesus. For that to happen, invitations must be given to neighbors, friends, and people new to our area. As we see our community blossom around us, our neighborhoods become an even bigger mission field than they already are.
Dress as you feel comfortable and we will look forward to meeting you!
