God has been so good and faithful to us, I wanted to share this Praise with you all regarding my bride, Patti. Last Tuesday, 9/27, she underwent brain surgery at Baptist Hospital Neurosurgical Center under the hand of Dr. Eric Sauvageau. He is the same brain surgeon who performed her surgery last year on 9/14. The surgery was planned to last 3.5 hours yet was complete in less than 2 hours! By the Grace of God, and the surgeon’s hand guided by the Holy Spirit, the tumor and scar tissue were removed entirely without any complication. This news delivered to me while she was in recovery was like the Angels singing from Heaven “Holy, Holy, Holy is He who reigns from Heaven!” Prayers were answered!
Patti spent 24 hours in ICU and was discharged just before Hurricane Ian struck on Wednesday evening. Again, by the Grace and Mercy of our Risen King, it was another storm weathered by us without significant impact. Patti is healing well, eating well, and resting comfortably as she recovers. She can get around without any issues, able to see well, and feels no pain other than minor pressure from the incision. This surgery went much better than the first and we know it is due to the many, many prayers being lifted by family, friends, and His church. She has a long way to go, but we know God has a plan and this is only the beginning of her total healing. Advances in treating brain cancer, made only in the last 6 months, have provided an opportunity that the MD Anderson Cancer center team may be able to employ to keep this cancer from returning for my bride. Abba, I raise a Hallelujah to your Provision and Miracles!!
For His Kingdom and Glory!

SCC Family, Patti and I had a good visit with her Neuro Surgeon, Neuro Oncologist, and their staff this afternoon into early evening. Bottom line out of all the options presented is surgery. Her brain surgeon, Dr. Eric Sauvageau, is highly skilled and is confident he can remove all of the growth with ease. From there pathology will determine the next steps as to her chemotherapy adjustment. She will be scheduled for another CT scan and surgery within the week. Her recovery should be 4 to 6 weeks following surgery but it should reduce the future risk of seizures and danger of continued growth. We are at ease with the procedure and know that God has this under control. Thank you for all the prayers, petitions, and fasting, as I know God is finding favor on us.

Dear scc family,
This afternoon my family received word from our family in Birmingham AL that my grandmother (Darlene's mom), Barbara Clem, had entered into the peaceful presence of Jesus sometime during her sleep last night. By her words and her deeds, it was evident to all that she knew and loved the Lord well in this life. We give thanks that she now knows and loves Him perfectly.
But we, my immediate and extended family, now grieve her absence from this world. Please pray for my heart and the hearts of my family as we walk through this time together.

I am still in search of a place I can call my home. Looking for a place to live on my own with rent no more than $700.00 per month. In todays economy and rental prices I know this will be a challenge. But nothing is too challenging for God. I am 64 years old and would live to be settled for the rest of my life. Asking for prayer that God will find a home for me in His Will and His Way. Any suggestions please feel free to contact me 904-860-7708

SCC Family, God is so, so, Good! All of our prayers, petitions, praise, and cries are being heard by our Heavenly Father, who has sent Angels of mercy and protection for my Bride! Praise His name in the highest! Patti is home now after 3 days of testing, labs, multiple MRI(s), once lasting more than 3 hours, and is resting comfortably. The neuro surgeon, oncologist, and radiologist delayed any invasive procedure and we will meet with them next week to see what the next steps are. She is on strong medicine now to control any seizures and so many folks have stepped up to assist her at this time. I am so, so, thankful for the Ladies of SCC who stepped in to clean our home while we were at the hospital, wash our linens, and prep our home for her return. May God richly bless each and every one of you! The power of prayer from a righteous person is what our Lord is responding to. Our Deacons continue to pour out their love through labor and prayer! God is using them in a mighty way! Uncle Mike and the team is amazing! And the prayer left for us by Brother Hugh McNair was the mightiest I have ever heard! God is indeed in total control of this situation! Psalm 34:4-7, for He has heard the cries of this poor man and has answered me in a mighty way! Abba Father, thank you!

Family, yesterday morning my dear bride, Patti, suffered a horrible seizure at 7:30AM as a result of the brain tumor regrowing after 12 months of treatments. I was in the middle of our Elder Meeting via Teams when she cried out for me, only for me discover her left arm in a curled cramp disfigured due to the beginning of the seizure. I was able to help her to the floor, grab the phone to dial 911, as she entered into a full blown "Grand Mal" seizure for 3 minutes. I can tell you it was the scariest moment of my life as I kneel next my bride to keep her from hitting her head and watched her breathing become so disconcerted she begin to turn blue. I cried out to Jesus to not take her at that moment, not like that, and for His power to descend upon her and protect her. Christ heard my prayers! Fire Rescue arrived quickly and was able to transport her to Baptist Downtown where her team from MD Anderson had been notified and was waiting for her arrival. Last night she received an MRI that will map out the location of the regrowing tumor and will more likely undergo brain surgery again to remove it. Our Deacons, Elders, and Church family have been so amazing in lifting her up in prayer and the Father is receiving those petitions. I will remain by her side until I am able to bring her home. Thank you my family and I pray Ephesians 2:18-22 and we covet your prayers.

My oldest sister Mary Lou, is facing her 4th/5th surgery with melanoma removal, tomorrow morning at 9 am, in Key West. This newest melanoma scare is on her face (and there are no plastic surgeons down there to handle this) and on her clavicle bone on the neck area. It’s spreading. Shes very scared. She’s in great need of prayers, and we appreciate anyone remembering her before the Lord. Thank you so much.

As many of you know and have been praying. Our eldest daughter, Nicole, was brought to the hospital a week ago in belief that her water broke as well as bleeding. She is currently 31 weeks pregnant with her fourth little one. After testing and retesting it was determined that her water is in tact however her placenta has torn away some. After 30
Hours in the hospital they decided that she could go home to modified bed rest. I have been over at their home during the week each day and will continue until preschool starts up and I return back to work. I assist with the other 3 little ones 4,2 and 1 playing with them preparing breakfast and lunch and assisting with nap routines. I have had many ask if they can help in anyway. If anyone would like to help, there is a meal train. Dinners are greatly appreciated as my son in law not only is working but then takes over with the 3 little ones so Nicole can remain off her feet and keep the baby girl growing as long as possible without extra complications. Thank you for the ongoing prayers and meals that have already been provided.

Melissa's surgery went well. She was home and feeling good by Wednesday evening. Whenever she crosses your mind in the future please remember her health and strength in your prayers. She's a mom who has sacrificed her own health to be there for her kids. Please continue to ask our Father God for mercy and healing on her behalf. Thank you church family for the support your prayers have given me.

Urgent prayers needed! Wes was admitted Tuesday back into Mayo Hospital.
Here is an update I received from Bev this morning:
Good morning. Extremely busy days in the hospital make it hard to find time to write updates. Wes is really struggling right now. Doctors are having a hard time determining exactly what is causing the problem with his sodium level. Until they can get it stabilized, he must stay in the hospital, where he is getting little rest. He needs prayer for healing and encouragement. Thank you for praying.
Here is why Wes was readmitted on Tuesday. From Bev:
Wes is admitted at Mayo. They are actually treating him with that weird acetic acid treatment he received in Amsterdam. After several days of that and when his electrolytes get straightened out, he'll come home with the wound vac. Hopefully it will do it's job and promote quicker healing of the wound. Decision will be made in the future as to whether a skin graft will be needed.
Thank you Dear prayer Warriors on Behalf of Wes & Bev.
