I know it has been a while since my last update on Patti. We found out on January 9th that her last MRI showed additional brain tumors growing. It was devastating news to learn she is battling 5 brain tumors now. But she is on a new chemotherapy medication that has eased some of the side effects from the prior medicine and has allowed her to be able to function as best as she can. She is in good spirits and we continue to pray together and seek the Lord’s mercy and love to get us through this trial. Her next MRI is on February 21st and we shall see what the new medication, coupled with God’s healing hand, has accomplished. In the meantime I am taking her to the Florida Keys as she has never been and now that I am on a Leave of Absence from work, I intend to provide her with whatever she desires, as well as whatever she may need. We covet your prayers and thank you for all the gift baskets, food, and love you have sent our way. God bless each of you and we know His will is for our good.

Please lift up in prayer a dear little friend of mine, Violet, a little baby girl who’s just been born to a family I’ve known my whole life. Her daddy is a Pastor of a small church up north. I’ve been friends with this family since BEFORE her daddy was born! His mother’s one of my dearest and closest friends. Little Violet is 3 months old.
While having a family gathering together with her brothers and sisters and grandparents, she came down with a high fever. She progressively got worse. They now are rushing her to an ER in the mountains. Please pray for Gods mercy and grace on little Violets life. And please pray against fear for her family. Thank you so much. I will keep you all posted as I hear anything. God bless you for your prayers.

Just an update on Patti as we enter this New Year. She has been battling Bronchitis that was aggravated by her IV Infusion treatments the past 3 weeks, along with blood clots that were caused by the Infusion medicine. The severe swelling and thrombosis kept her down and unable to walk. This combined with the loss of her voice, again a side effect of the Infusion medicine, and constant exhaustion has taken a toll on my bride. She was too ill to be able to receive her last scheduled treatment on the 27th. But by the Grace of God, she was strong enough today to go out to lunch for Gyros and is improving. As 2023 begins, we will be meeting with her Oncology team to revisit her brain cancer treatment plan and direction. In fact, we may be visiting other Cancer Centers that are offering alternative methods to treat her Glioblastoma. We covet your prayers for wisdom, clarity and discernment for us and the medical team. We trust that God has a plan, be it in our lifetime or with Him, of that we place our Hope and Joy. I pray that this coming New Year will find you well, prosperous, and safe. May your Faith in our Risen King grow more and your Hope in His promise.
For His Kingdom and Glory!

Patti and I are very thankful for all the prayers, gift baskets, cards, and especially the SCC Kids hand made items delivered over the past week to her. It has been a blessing for her indeed. Our boys and grandkids are in town with us for Thanksgiving and their visit has been the best medicine she could ever have received. She is adjusting to the medicines finally and is doing much better than she was a week ago, Praise God. There are only 39 days left in 2022 and she has 3 more IV Infusions to complete. We pray they are successful in shrinking the tumor and that the seizures are kept at bay and do not return. Just a little note to share our Thanksgiving message and prayer with our SCC Family. We love you all.

I wanted to update you on Mindy. It turns out that the dentist did not put her to sleep to extract her teeth. She went through it awake. She was scared but made it. Some of her teeth had grown into the bone. One tooth had grown into her sinus cavity. BUT God, was faithful! She had no complications! Thank you for your prayers! She is in pain but is talking about when the lower teeth will be removed next. We love you all!

Please pray for my wife, Kim. We.just left the ER where we went due to her shortness of breath and we were shocked that she tested positive for Covid. We have fortunately avoided it for over 2 years. She was not admitted but we have to monitor her breathing so it does not go below 88. She was also given a Covid prescription .
Please pray for her recovery as she has many other health conditions such as diabetes which could complicate the Covid. I am the only one who can care for her as we r in quarantine so.please pray that I remain negative. Thank you-Bruce Wiggins

Thank you all for your prayers, cards, calls, visits, and thoughts of concern for my Bride, Patti Jo.
She is resting comfortably after being discharged from Baptist Downtown on Wednesday (11/9) following a series of onset seizures that had to be stabilized to treat the tumor discovered in her right frontal lobe. A very uncomfortable 48-hour EEG was performed, along with anti-seizure meds. On Friday, she was able to complete her first IV Infusion of a monoclonal antibody drug designed to shrink the blood vessels that feed tumors, causing the tumor to die. She has several more infusions to complete over the rest of 2022 to beat this monster, all while keeping the seizures away as they will interrupt the treatment plan. Please pray with me that the anti-seizure meds are able to and that God will orchestrate all that needs to be accomplished for my Bride. It is tough, as these meds make her very drowsy, slows her thoughts and speech, and somewhat non- verbal. It is for this reason I am keeping visits and phone calls to a minimum, as she becomes emotional when she cannot communicate with anyone as she would normally. Please pray that when these meds are eased and she is weaned off, our vibrant, bright-eyed, daughter of our King returns to us as she was. I will update as the Infusions and visits to MD Anderson Cancer Center progress over the next 55 days. Thank you and may God Bless you all for your love and concern for us.
