Serving is a vital part of the Christian life. Growth takes place in our lives when we step out and get involved. We serve not because the church wants something from us, but because God invites us into His work. We encourage you to explore the serving opportunities that SCC offers.
Our church supports a number of local ministries and outreach efforts including:
Boxes of Love
Holiday community outreach to local families in need with gifts, food, and the Gospel.
Arlington Villas Christmas Party
Annual supply drive and Christmas Party for special needs adults.
First Coast Women’s Services
Coin filled Baby Bottles provide Christ-centered, life changing pregnancy support.
Circle of Love Ministries
Food drive delivers hundreds of pounds of food and necessities to support the needs of men seeking a Christian based approach to overcome the cycle of homelessness.
Supplying a fully cooked buffet style meal and basic necessities for migrant labor families.
Teens and adults live on campus for 1 week in the summer and perform thousands of hours of community service and share the love of Christ with those they encounter.
Operation Christmas Child
Support of shoeboxes delivered to over 100 countries as a tangible expression of God’s amazing love.
Ongoing opportunities afford Sunday School classes and individuals to make a life changing, Christian impact on children around the world.
Food Pantry provides cans, boxes and packages of grocery items for those with immediate need for food.
